Diana McMahon was born June 13, 1935 to Harold and Virginia Weeter, both children of life-long mid-Ohio Valley residents. Diana grew up on Grandview Avenue in New Matamoras, Ohio and graduated from Matamoras High School with the class of 1953. Diana attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio earning degrees in English and psychology.
After college Diana lived in Columbus, Ohio, Charlotte North Carolina, and Knoxville Tennessee before returning to New Matamoras, Ohio to spend the remaining years of her life.
Diana was active in Daughters of the American Revolution, The New Matamoras United Methodist Church, the Matamoras Area Historical Society and FLEDA. Diana was a genealogist and local historian.
